We started SAMA because we were tired of the same story — beautiful bags wrapped in inflated prices, exclusive imagery, and manufactured scarcity. The craft was always there. The honesty wasn’t. We went to Florence, found the families who have shaped leather by hand for generations, and built something better. Quality you can feel. Prices you can justify.
The
Problem.
The traditional luxury bag market is built on layers — distributors, showrooms, retail floors, marketing budgets — each adding to the price tag you see at checkout. By the time a bag reaches you, you’re paying for everyone else’s overhead, not just the craft. We decided to cut the chain entirely.
We spent two years in Florence, finding the families who have shaped leather by hand for generations — the craftspeople the big houses quietly rely on but rarely credit. Skills passed from parent to child, refined over decades, working in workshops that have perfected full-grain leather goods for longer than most brands have existed. We brought them directly to you. No middlemen. No showrooms. No inflated margins. Just the bags, as they should be.

Every SAMA bag is made by skilled artisans who take their time. Countless hours go into each piece — hand-cut panels, precise stitching, carefully finished edges. There is no shortcut that produces this result and we’re not interested in finding one.
Full-grain leather only — the highest quality hide available. It develops a rich patina over time that becomes uniquely yours. We don’t use bonded leather, coated splits, or anything that pretends to be something it’s not.
No middlemen means our prices reflect what the bag actually costs to make — materials, skilled labour, and a fair margin. Elevated quality at grounded prices isn’t a tagline. It’s the entire point of SAMA.

Every SAMA bag comes from the same corner of Tuscany — a region that has shaped leather by hand since the 13th century. No factories, no shortcuts, just skill passed down through families.
This region has tanned and shaped leather by hand for over 700 years — a tradition that predates almost every luxury house you've heard of.
Our artisans didn't learn this craft in a classroom. They learned it at home, from someone who learned it the same way before them.
We work with a small number of workshops, not a factory. That means slower production — and bags that are actually made with care.
